Featured Recipe: Belgian Chocolate Brownies
Kathie’s mixes are easy to adapt and ‘make it your own’
Ingredients
- 1 pkg Kathie’s Bakery Scratch Brownie Mix
- ½ cup oil (such as canola)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp. water
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup Belgian chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Grease the bottom of an 8×8” metal baking pan; if desired, line the bottom only with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, stir together brownie mix, oil, eggs, water, vanilla, and chocolate chips until evenly moist; the batter doesn’t need to be completely smooth.
- Spread evenly in the prepared pan.
- Bake for 14-17 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Remove from oven, let cool and enjoy!
